To support children to realize holistic child growth and to build capacity of rural households to improve safe drinking water access and family nutrition condition, ECCA is implementing “Child Development and Nutrition Enhancement” Project in Jajarkot District, Midwest Region, Nepal.
The local youths and teachers are trained, child club established, pre-school package supported, drinking water disinfected (through chlorination) and proper storage facility developed, vegetable farming diversified and household nutrition improved (with greater vegetable access and knowledge in balanced diet provision), women and mothers trained on nutrition & home gardening, and micro-credit facility provided (to pursue agriculture, livestock, small business) to increase household income.
